This house, built for Hamilton Cornwall, is one of the original limestone buildings on Pelee Island. It was built in 1893 by John Lowe from stone quarried on the island. Recently renovated to modern expectations, the old-fashioned ambience still exists. Experience a night, a weekend, or a week, in this relaxing rural setting. Tours of the island can be arranged. We encourage you to explore the island and experience nature. Fishing charters can be arranged.

The Great Room provides a library and a fireplace to take the chill off cool evenings. A screened-in porch across the front of the house affords a view of the lake, and a comfortable place to read, visit, or simply enjoy nature. A walk down the tree canopied lane brings you to a comfortable stone patio which welcomes you to sit and watch the sun set over Lake Erie. A sandy beach provides a picturesque swimming area.
Special rates apply for longer stays. Rates include a Continental and Traditional Farmhouse Breakfast. In appreciation of the comfort and safety of our guests we ask that you refrain from smoking. Outside areas are provided for your convenience. Children 12 years and older are welcome.
